Helena Dolny

Dr Helena Dolny is an executive coach with fifteen years of coaching experience undertaking leadership coaching with individuals and teams.

In 1997 Helena was appointed by then President Mandela as CEO of the Land Bank of South Africa. The mandate was institutional transformation (as in the bank had never given loans to black people). Whilst the business side was challenging Helena found the bigger challenge lay in changing the corporate culture and behaviours. In 2003 she decided her next career would be as a leadership coach and she enrolled for a master’s degree to learn her craft which she completed cum laude in 2005. Since then she has studied with Nancy Kline (*Thinking Environment), Martha Beck (life coaching), Wendy Palmer (leadership embodiment), Alan Sieler (ontological coaching) as well as completing four Enneagram programmes to qualify to work with individuals and teams. Helena is passionate about how we choose to live our lives whilst consciously embracing our mortality. In 2017 she published Before Forever After: when conversations about living meet questions about dying. She has developed a coaching programme linked to her book as well as undertaking pubic speaking engagements billed as: Love. Legacy. Dignity: Inspiring your Personal Mastery. She is a member of the Time To Think global faculty and trains and accredits coaches and facilitators in this modality. She is a faculty member of Henley Business School, where she works on executive education programmes, specifically teaching Personal Mastery, Time To Think, Managing Change, and High Performing Teams. Helena is mobile and also works virtually. She currently has clients in Johannesburg (where she lives), Walvis Bay (Namibia), Vienna (Austria) and Washington DC (USA).
